Coen Brothers return to dark comedy.
If you prefer the Coen Brothers’ comedies (The Big Lebowski, Raising Arizona, Barton Fink) to their heavier stuff, you’ve only got to wait until this September for Burn After Reading, a darkly screwball adventure about a missing CD full of CIA secrets and the gym employees (Pitt, McDormand) who try to profit from it.
The cast of relative unknowns includes Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Tilda Swinton and J.K. Simmons. Remember the following is a redband trailer, so it’s not necessarily SFW.
